from Milton, MA US stayed on December 21, 2003
"We had a power outage the night we stayed at the Hilton Fort Lee. The electricity went out in the middle of the night. I wear an apnea breathing machine to sleep but was woken up choking because my machine had stopped. Due to the lack of power, there was no lights, no heat, no hot water, no telephone, no elevator (we were on the 9th floor). It was altogether a very uncomfortable night stay. Throughout, we were never notified as to the status of the situation.
In the morning when we checked out, the front desk did not even acknowledge the power outage until we complained. The hotel took $50 off of our bill. We are outraged and will never stay at a Hilton or recommend anyone to do so in the future."
Recommends the hotel to others?
